Wow

While some retailers have made the decision to suspend sales and stop selling certain firearms altogether, others are seeing sales skyrocket to never before seen levels. Parking lots are packed and hopeful shoppers are waiting hours for their chance to get their hands on weapons, parts and magazines that may soon be banned under Federal mandates.

    This has more to do with a sense of displaced privilege among the purchasers than any real need for self-defense or defense from government. The only guns I've seen in more than ten years were either worn by law enforcement and security guards or carried by legitimate hunters. 

    I know people that don't lock their doors, don't bother locking their cars even. The only thing people I know regularly lock up is their bicycles.
